I never thought I would be so happy to come out and see all my mixing bowls spread across the living room floor! The kids and I were all home sick from church today, and I was trying to figure out how I was going to keep the kids entertained and happy with the little energy that I had. Hudson took matters into his own hands. He wanted to make music. He had found the drums, moved the chair to the piano for Hallie, and eventually got his band set from the room. He requested "loud music" and I turned on the Primary Children's Songbook CD. He said it wasn't the right kind of music. I turn it to the "fun" songs, and he rocked out. He and Hallie may make it big one day. ;)

Hallie at the Playground
As I was taking photos for a friend at the park, I turned to see sweet Hallie just sitting on the curb doing her thing. "Thing" meaning shoving mulch and trash into her mouth like it was going out of style. Glad I had my good camera to snap away.
Hallie is also at the age where she is beginning to be more aware of those playing around her. She wants to follow others around and emulate their actions. Sweet London was so good to Hallie as she tried to tag along the playground. London seemed to enjoy the company. :)
I need to do bring along my good camera more often.
