When our friends, the Ahos found out we were going skydiving, Julie flipped. She kept telling us we were crazy and she wouldn't allow it. We spent last Saturday at their home for dinner, and this is what she sereved as dessert, "Ode to skydiving" (or some other really clever name I can't remember.). It was hilarious, and delicious, and didn't make us think twice about going skydiving this weekend. :)
For my birthday, Colby surprised me with certificates to go skydiving. I have never been so surprised with a birthday gift. So last weekend, almost 2 months after my birthday, we did it. It was a blast and definitely unforgettable. We jumped tandem from 10,000 feet out of a rickety Cessna airplane. We both are so glad we did it (and survived to tell about it.) Check it all out in video below.
(music was put to the videos and apparently it beraks copyright so youtube muted it. can't figure out how to put it up with sounds. any help would be greatly appreciated. for now, just imagine screaming. :) )

That's CRAZY! Both Ryan and I agree we could never do that. Your video alone made me so nervous!! :) Glad you survived it!
oh my gosh!! wow I've always thought it'd be kind of fun to try skydiving but after watching how you sit in the doorway and then out on the wing - I really think I'd be freaking out. The anticipation would kill me. However once you actually jumped it looked like fun. Great gift. Glad you survived.
Awesome video girl! Love it!
Jared took me skydiving before we started dating, it's a thrill for sure. Where did you go, is there a place around here?
okay you are crazy! It is actually something I have always thought that I would love to try. It looks freaky for the initial jump but then fun after that. I don't know?! :) That's awesome you did it!!
Katie major props. Who's idea was this. Because I can't really see you waking up one morning and wanting to skydive. Of course I could be wrong. There was that one incident with black nail polish...
