Great, clearly she didn't hear me offer to help and thought instead that I was one of the youth who couldn't wait any longer for her cupcake.
My response: I know, what can I do to help so we can get ready more quickly.
Her response: Oh, I thought you were a youth. Sure. We would love your help.
Fabulous.
I guess it is better to look young than old and wrinkly. I will embrace it.

Ha! That used to be me always. It always felt so embarassing. Now, it's pretty obvious I'm an "adult". Enjoy it while it lasts!
HAHA! Katie, I work at a middle school and high school and get that ALL THE TIME. luckily, at the high school, most of the administration know me so it's not an issue, but they will make comments like, "you could totally fit in with the kids"...uh, thanks? I know later on we'll appreciate it :)
You'll love it in 20 years!
I love that this happened to both of us at the same time! I hope I will enjoy it someday too :)
